[She opens the door with a smile, closing it behind her as she steps out. Her eyes flicker towards the AGI logo with vague disapproval, but she masks it well after a moment.]

Hi! Thanks for letting me come.

[ Claire's used to it, so she just shrugs it off. She smiles at Ahiru and gives a light shrug. ]

No problem, it's nice to be around other people. [ Especially newcomers. The natives here, while not all of them anti-Newcomer, were still very apprehensive about them. Or at least that was the case with her squad. ]

Yeah, I'm ready. I already left a note and everything. How far is the library?

Um- hold on. [ She steps back, pulling her NV out of her bag. She pulls up the GPS application, searching for the nearest library. ]

It's not too far, only three kilometers that way. [ She points north, following the arrow on her NV. Technology was pretty great sometimes. ]

Do all the NVs have something like that on them?

[ Yeah, fake iPads are pretty great. ]

Maybe? All NVs are different. [ Claire shall lead the way! Slowly but ... surely. ]

It's a lot cooler now that I can use it. When I first got it, I had no idea what I was doing.

Yeah, a lot of the technology here in the city really confused me at first.

You didn't have most of the technology in your world? [ Claire at least had about 85% in her world, that she knew of. ]

Oh, I'm from kind of a long time ago.

Really? You don't seem like it.

Well, I've had a long time to get used to it here!

How long have you been here? [ Don't trip over yourself on the pavement, Ahiru. ]

A little over a year. [But walking straight is hard!]

You learned pretty quickly. I'd probably be lost if the technology here was ahead of what I was used to. [ That might be because she's a little technologically-challenged, of course. ]
