[What's playing on the screen is relatively harmless- an unusual creme-colored tomcat with a golden charm embedded in its forehead acting out what could possibly be every viral cat video that ever graced the internet. It yowls in a mock attempt to speak, paws at yarn, and runs in circles, gorges itself on delicious cat food, eventually flopping down on a cushion to sleep.

There's static. The program could be over, but then it's back and the cat- and anyone who has met Meowth will recognize the species instantly- is staring directly into the camera, cheerful as can be.]

Meeeeowth. Owth-Meowth. [It's communicating, but the language is lost to any human ears. Only one creature in the city can speak that language.

[Wow. Okay, evidently Meowth is aware of this. She tries getting his attention, then winds up YELLING into her NV in the hopes that he'll hear her.]

I'M A LITTLE BUSY HERE. [The sound comes out muffled, like, IDK, someone's trying to bite a TV to death.

Unfortunately, the TV wins and goes staticky and Meowth flops to the floor, finally paying attention to his NV like he's totally been aware of it this whole time and Mary just had to wait her damn turn.]

I don't know who that cat thinks he is, but he ain't me, and when I find out where he's hidin', he's gonna find out what them feather pillows he's sleepin' on taste like.
