A hot cup of tea was plunked down in front of Frau while his food was cooking. Whether the guy had ordered tea or not, he definitely needed it. Either that or a drink of something stronger, but Yosuke wasn't old enough to serve the liquor yet, and while people might drink anything, there were really only two important kinds of tea. Green tea, and that nasty stuff that foreigners drank. Since the guy looked pretty foreign, he got the nasty stuff. But Yosuke also set down a bowl of sugar and some honey. And three kinds of milk, since he hadn't bothered to ask the guy for a preference first and not everyone liked rice milk ( ... )

Frau glanced down at the tea in surprise and then flicked his gaze up toward Yosuke. Even when he wasn't feeling himself, Frau was relatively good at reading people. It was part of who he was, both bishop and ghost. Something was eating at this kid too. Considering he worked here, Frau figured it was likely one of the things bothering him. Fai's disappearance. In fact, when he thought about it, it was a little surprising the place was still open.

"There's nothing in here that's going to forcibly alter my behavior, right?"

He couldn't help eying the tea with a little bit of hesitance and skepticism. The last cup of tea he'd had at the Cat's Eye had resulted in him almost eating Sakura. While Fai had stopped that from happening, he'd paid a heavy price. A rather deep bite to the neck and a good sized beating. It had taken Frau a long time to be willing to talk to Fai again after he'd left the magician's confinement. It had taken even longer for him to talk to Sakura. Even now he hadn't spoken with her.

"In the tea?"

Yosuke, being pretty new to the city, gave Frau a confused look at that question. He puzzled it over for a few seconds and then came to the conclusion that maybe the guy was worried about liquor in his tea for some reason. Though, actually, that sounded like a good idea. No one could stay cold if they drank that.

"There's nothing in it yet." He finally replied, still thoughtful. With an open palm he gestured politely to the sugar and milk. "I didn't know what you liked, so I brought everything."

Frau simply nodded and started mixing together the milk and sugar. He wasn't completely sure what he would like since the tea here was a lot different from the tea he drank at home. Labrador's brews didn't need anything added to them. He took a quick sip of the tea, set the cup down, and poured in another drop of milk. On the second try it worked out well, and he nodded his approval.

"It's not bad."
