The detention center visiting room isn't too bad a place, especially considering the things you heard about prisons back when he's from. Plenty of light and clean air; it'd be pretty cosy if it weren’t for the fortifications on the window and the doors, and the way the desk at which you’ll be sitting is separated from the seat opposite by a metal partition with a vented fibreglass window to speak through.
The uniforms, on the other hand - he can't see how orange scrubs are an improvement in any way over the old bumblebee stripe pyjamas. If he'd known about those he might not have gone along so quietly. Still, in the spirit of cooperation he'll be wearing them, along with a faintly amused demeanour, as he's shown in.
