Byakuya unlocked the office and let himself in. He was tired, having been out and about after Darkness most of the weekend. He'd been looking into the poorer districts, wondering where and how they could be improved, with little knowledge of who was doing it. He wanted to remain anonymous.
Releasing the kidou wall he'd put around the office, he stepped inside, pulling the mail out that had arrived over the weekend. He flipped through it, barely noticing his surroundings.
He turned on the tea kettle and settled Senbonzakura in the corner, sitting at his desk. He heard a noise in the assistant's room, but knew she'd be in here in a moment.
"Ella-san." He greeted her, when she stepped into his inner office.
