Summary: Haruhi is throwing together a little speed dating event at the NCC. She will gladly drag you in and force you to get to know some other Newcomers! BONUS: There may a side of reality warping status effects. Just don't tell her.

[Inside the Community Center's main area is now a series of five normal-looking round tables, arranged roughly in a large pentagon.
What's slightly less normal is the decoration of those tables. Each table has a set of black curtains surrounding it, currently raised above the tables. Each of the different tables has a particular ambiance to it--a different colored light, and different decorations, with one strewn with rose petals, another with what appear to be Christmas decorations and mistletoe, and so on, described in more detail below.
Haruhi is standing in the center of the tables and beckoning all comers in impatiently. She's dressed herself in a nice and relatively unobtrusive way--her hair tied up in a ponytail, wearing a short yellow dress. A few minutes after the scheduled starting time, she'll tap her foot and clear her throat.]
All right, everyone! The rules are as follows. Drop your name in the hat representing who you're interested in, or both, and we'll just draw pairs as appropriate! If you get the same person as before, or as someone else, obviously it's a redo. Then we'll roll the die to send you to a random table, and you'll have ten minutes to go talk to the person that you picked! Don't be lame, because it's a short time to get to know someone! I'll be coming in to let you know when the time expires.
