[Cass isn't the only one who's thinking about winter clothing today. The Assassin is in the store today too, looking a bit lost. He had not had to worry about what to wear in years. It would be one thing if he was just buying something just to throw on when he was forced to be outside, but since he (regretfully) was forced to be a productive member of society here, he was going to figure out how to dress without looking like a fool. He already has one strike against him with his rather unfortunate hair color. It turned out it was rather difficult to find colors that coordinated with petal pink.

He glanced up from the clearance racks of (to his chagrin) women's shirts when she comes in, watching her with casual disinterest.]

[She's looking at some simple, long sleeved shirts, but they're all made with a thinner material than she's expecting out of "winter-wear". She frowns as she ponders over it, taking one down and holding it up. It says it's her size, but the sleeves only go down just past her elbows. Not very productive...

She spots a few things in black nearby and goes to look at them. They're not thick but they're long, and they're perfect for any sort of simple jacket she can find. That'll do.]

[He finally realizes that he is in fact, looking at women's clothing and backs off, looking a little annoyed. It would have been nice if things had been labeled a little more clearly. He gives Cass a vestige of an embarrassed smile and moves over towards what he hopes is the men's clearance. ]

You would think they would make more winter clothes for such a cold place.

[He's talking half to himself, half to her, trying to enliven the drudgery of having to look for clothing.]

[He's talking to her? No, not really. She looks up anyway and blinks at the smile. She turns back to the shirt in her hand.]

It's a cheap store. Not surprising.

[Not much of a talker, unfortunately. She turns the shirt over and drapes it over her arm.]

How long have you been here?

[He glances first at the shirt, and then up to meet her face briefly, before looking back to something that at least looks like a man's shirt to him.]

Only a couple of months.

[He takes the shirt off of rack and looks back up.]

And yourself?

[Unsurprising. Then again, anyone who might have arrived after March would need to have some sort of new winter wear now. She picked up a jacket and looked at it closely.]

September.

[It felt like a long time ago.]

It was warmer back home.

Where was 'home?'

[It felt like a long time for Marluxia as well. Everything from before the Castle felt like an unending, hazy-gray dream. He gave her the respect of looking at her for her response, for while he had no love of any place he had ever lived, it was likely not the same for Cass.]

A city called Gotham.

[She looks over at him.]

You?

I have not had a home in quite some time. I never liked to stay in one place very long.

[The shirt he had was all right, but not in his size, and he digs deeper into the racks to see if he could find that proper size.]

What was Gotham like? I had not heard of it.
