If anything good came out of being transformed into a bottomless pit for Halloween, it was the assurance they weren't going to starve any time soon and they would be well stocked for any potential zombie outbreaks. There was plenty of tea and coffee to go around as well and it was definitely required with this latest case Sherlock had recently taken on.
Still. The whole costume egg drama had been a bit of a distraction and it's only after finding his notebook in the kitchen that he remembers just what he had been doing earlier that day - talking to Christal Dames-Hinder about Luis.
