Pool - Morning of November 7th

It had taken quite awhile for Zoey to realize how long it had been since she'd gone swimming. Especially after Aphrodite had a vision, back home, of Zoey dying in a body of water. Well, this wasn't home and nobody here wanted to kill her. that, and she hadn't had the chance to wear the swimsuit she'd bought at the end of the summer.

So up to the pool she headed, towel wrapped around her modestly because this was really something Aphrodite would have picked out but the color was just so pretty. Her Marks were completely exposed as well because it wouldn't make sense to put on concealer for all of them if she was swimming. And then, into the water she dove.

It was then that a man stepped down into the pool area, a towel over his arm, wearing a simple bathing suit that was colored like the French flag. Zoey might have recognized him if she had been watching him cook in the main kitchen, for the majority of the House. Hey, that free food had to come from somewhere, and if she had tasted any of it she would know he was more than qualified.

He hadn't been expecting anyone else to be down here, except perhaps Michael - and so he watched her body slip under the water, a little surprised. And when she came up for air, well. He couldn't help but admire her body a little more. That swimsuit fit her quite wonderfully. "Ah, bonjour... I hope I am not interrupting?" He asked, in his thick French accent, with a smile affixed to his face.

Zoey smiled to her new companion, her cheeks flushing a bit. She hadn't expected anyone else to join her, honestly, but it was nice. Quickly, she brushed aside any hair that was sticking to her face and swam towards the edge of the pool.

"Hi. No definitely not, so not interrupting." Especially when the person that was doing the not-interrupting was cute.

Francis stepped up toward the pool's edge as well, but did not get in just yet. Instead, he sat down and dipped his feet into the water. Thankfully the water was not as cold as he had originally thought.

"Magnifique. This means we will be able to introduce ourselves properly." Thinking like that might have made him sound like a creeper, he laughed a little nervously and added, "We live right across from each other, non? I live in 4D with my kitten, Liliane. I think I might have seen you around, aussi."

Even if it had been cold, Zoey would never have noticed. Her body temperature had risen after being Marked, so the cold just wasn't a problem anymore. Which was great, she didn't have to buy ridiculously expensive jackets to stay warm anymore.

"Oh yeah! We do! I hope Nala hasn't been bothering your kitten." Her cat, as far as she knew, never bothered many people. Except Zoey. She loved to leap at Zoey from out of nowhere. "Oh goddess, I hope she hasn't bothered you either!"

"Alors, I am not sure, Nala has never come into my apartment, even with the cat door there. Liliane hasn't seemed bothered though." He gave her a soft smile. "Nala is a lovely name for a cat."

After another moment, Francis hoisted himself up with his hands and slid into the pool. Making a little hiss as he sharply inhaled, he muttered something indiscernible in French. But, after another minute or so, he seemed to be used to the temperature.

"Are you usually down here this early in the morning?"
