Even if the humans around him are in various states of debauched activity, they still need protection. It's one of the many reasons angels existed, to watch over God's creation. So Griffin will stand stoically at the club's door, his plastic halo and black t-shirt with white wings on the back looking rather silly. In the spirit of the holiday, it is best to leave them on. There is a bit of enjoyable irony in it.
Anyone who knows Griffin will notice that he is looking impossibly serene and absolutely out of character.]

Right. He probably stopped looking so friendly once the sirens rang, suddenly much more shrill and frightening to his ears as he leant out of the doorway to see the last band of children escorted off, and found himself falling heavily onto his hands and feet. Or paws. And was he... warmer? Heavier? It's not the suit at least, but since he can't find his reflection, can't make assumptionsHe still feels strong, which is reassuring enough to cancel out most of the disorientation at this form-- but his altered vision has thrown the other senses off-balance. So a seemingly lost South ( ... )

Ah, well. He's got his captain by his side, so nothing can go too wrong. He rests a hand on each of his dual swords as he looks out into the darkness.]
Ah...Captain? I don't mean to question you, but where are we going?

Gather our bearings. First order of business, we need a way to maneuver around and to determine our exact location, then supplies. We're a little short handed on the crew, but I trust you're good company for the situation.

[He puffs his chest out as best he can, then frowns into the distance as he hears a strange sound. Must be the danger his captain spoke of. But it's nothing they can't handle, the two of them.]
I don't have any idea where we're at now, but this is an island, right? If we keep walking, we're sure to find the shore, and maybe a boat with it.]

[She doesn't flinch at the strange sound, drawing her sword and starting to walk.]

Sure, it's not entirely different from what she usually wears, but the connotations... She sighs, sitting on one of the rooftops, contemplating the various places she could go, the things she could steal... The money she could scrounge up.]

He can't get up there in this state, though, and sits down firmly at the bottom of the building she's atop, calling out for her attention; any air he passes from his throat comes out as a low roar, a sort of deep, whiny meow. Likely not what her kind of cat picks up on as a familiar call, but he doesn't have any other way. ]

She glances down at him, raising one languid eyebrow. And then she slides down from the roof and alights on one of the fire escapes, half-smiling.]
What's wrong? Lost?
[She makes a noise in her throat to call him over and she stretches down her hand for him.]
Nice kitty.

She already has his attention with that quick movement and her beckoning; after a moment of getting back to his feet he wanders over obediently, head raised to find the gaze on this intriguing being. ]
