Who:
birdthright,
acemedium and later
longaevus When: Friday afternoon!
Where: Crow's Head Beach and later the clinic!
Summary: Maya passes out in the middle of training, but luckily Damian's around to insult her. I mean save her. And get her to a clinic.
Warnings: FAILURE. Tl;dr
[Maya had been feeling dizzy, tired, achy, and wobbly. (Hungry? No. She'd barely eaten anything for good while now--)]
[But that hadn't stopped her from training. Even if she didn't do as much channeling in the city as she did at home, her spiritual powers had to stay in top shape no matter what. (She had to do something) She'd made her way to Crow's Head Beach, waded into the water (it was cold!) and settled herself so she was perched with the water right up to her shoulders.]
[This wasn't a block of ice or a waterfall, but over the months she'd spent here she'd learned to make do with what was available. And today was no different than usual, other than the dizziness (which didn't seem to go away) and sudden difficulties concentrating. She tried to clear her mind, but lately, her mind wasn't quite cooperative on that front (Liquid).]
[(Liquid) The feeling of death was always present, like a shadow over the city, but lately, it'd been stronger. (Liquid.) So many of the newcomers--]
[(Liquid. She was supposed to-- She would have-- Why did he-- Everyone always died and--)]
[--Her balance was getting oddly hard to keep, and a sudden wave of tiredness was sweeping ove rher. Focus, Maya! You don't have time to sit around dwelling on the past! You won't be able to help anyone that way! A sudden intake of air, and she was closing her eyes tighter, uncomfortably so; falling asleep was out of the question. Oddly enough, though, that dizziness wasn't going away and--.]
[With a rather undignified splash, the little spirit medium toppled to the side and hit the water fast and hard, losing consciousness before her head even got underwater]
