It wasn't unusual for Caster to wander the streets during the evening. After all, it was during the evening that the city became a little more interesting. However, even then, it lacked in its appeal, and she tried not to sigh as sandaled heels clicked down the road before the nightly sirens.

Yet, upon catching sight of a figure from a short distance away, Caster found her curiosity piqued ever so slightly. It was a little difficult to make out his features clearly, but if she wasn’t mistaken, he looked rather abnormally disheveled. Somehow, the denizens of the island constantly found themselves in enigmatic circumstances far from the mundane, and she had no doubt that this one was any different.

“Excuse me,” she softly called over, with a mildly welcoming smile as if mindful of alarming him. “I couldn’t help but notice that you seem a little worse for the wear. If it is none of my business, then I will not trouble you…but is everything alright?” A slight tilt of her hooded head and a gentle note of concern accompanied her

Wolf stared at her for a moment, the blank and feral look on his face suddenly melting into a disconcerting smile.

"H'lo," he said, grinning through pointed teeth. "Don't you worry. Everything's just swell...

Caster didn't even need to feel for his presence to know that he wasn't human. His pointed teeth alone were tell-tale indicators that worked better than any alarm.

"Is that so?" she remarked, calmly still. "Perhaps you haven't seen yourself in the mirror yet."

It certainly felt dangerous speaking with such a man, but she wasn't afraid to play with fire. Sometimes, the brightest mornings came from the darkest nights.

"Who needs a mirror? I feel GREAT!"

Wolf laughed, throwing his arms back and staring up at the sky. "Will you smell that fresh air? I can see for MILES AND MILES! I feel incredible! Don't you?"

If she were to answer that honestly, Caster would respond with a sound 'no'. However, she knew better than to speak her mind, especially to a man whose head seemed to suffer from impaired judgment.

"I feel fine myself," she answered, politely. "But you know, even if you feel fine, your appearance is a bit...unseemly." She let out a small sigh, fully aware that 'a bit' was an understatement. "When was the last time you cleaned yourself up?"
