[ Amy has ridden the subway enough times to know how long she needs to get back to her flat before the sun sets; the sirens still hadn't gone off, so there should have been plenty of time. But that's what shocks her when the train car comes to a sudden lurching stop and plunges into total darkness. It didn't make sense. This was still the daytime transit, wasn't it? It figures she was one stop away from the apartments, too.
Panic starts to set in, as well as beginning signs of slight claustrophobia. Her chest tightens. She stumbles out of her seat, careful not to step on anyone, blindly grappling for the door. ]
Hey! What is this?!
[ The doors are shut pretty tight, not letting her fingers pry it open. But as she tries, she can feel something cold creeping over her hands and seeping through the tiny crack she's made. Instantly, she lets go, wringing her hands. Then she remembers this is one of the reasons why John made her carry that gun around. She's hesitant to shoot in a pitch-black train car full of people, however, her hand

[ Since the first failure of an alarm to go off, his NV set to beep in the early evening before the sirens purely to make up for his own bad memory, Kotetsu knew something was wrong. It had taken a moment of checking the electronics in his room, then glancing outside to the darkening city he had come to like as well as fear, for the sense of danger to take hold and swiftly change into action. The eyemask is the only accessory he's taken with him before getting outside and out there with his fellow Heroes-- but as the network flickers back into life and various newcomers take care of the area around Tower Apartments, he leaves them, looking for any stragglers in quieter areas that might have been forgotten.
Then he remembers the closest subway station-- it's low, easy enough for him to access, easier for the Darkness. Just a lingering moment by the entrance to the station and the eerie lack of people normally trailing out by this time are enough to spur on a sense of danger.

[ By this time, Amy has backed herself into quite a tight spot. Whatever emergency lights that should have kicked on still haven't and something had made its way inside -- something looming and growling and snarling. It was also fast and that's probably why her crackshot in the dark hit one of the windows, which wasn't good. Puncturing more holes into the train car was only endangering everybody else.
She had to think quick because this wasn't working. But almost as if a lightbulb had gone off outside her mind, there was a faint flash of light that illuminated the tunnel. And a voice, too. ]
... Hello? [ Her voice is hesitant at first, like maybe she didn't actually hear somebody. But it echoes again, followed by that strange glowing light. She starts pounding her fist against the doors. ] Oi! I'm in here!
[ Kotetsu stills his breathing just long enough to listen out for a response and-- there, there it is, there's somebody inside. Or likely, several people inside. Either way, they're stuck, and although his eyes aren't adjusting to the dark of the tunnel too well with the contrast of his glow, chances are something might have reached into the carriage. ]
Hold on, I'll get you out! [ A glance here and there, it looks like he won't be able to slip down in the gap between the walls of the tunnel and the train itself. So, maybe if he tries to get inside- he curls his fingers around the door-handles of the driver's carriage (with a frightened, angry train driver inside, sorry, man) and yanks. One of them breaks right off in his hand. ]
...Piece'a junk! [ Throwing the handle down onto the tracks he snarls, then forces himself to take just a moment to think amongst his urgency and temper-- surely, surely there must be something. What if there are other people inside the carriage-- too many for him to escort single-handedly to the surface?

[ Amy was having difficulty hearing who or where the voice was coming from, but someone was there and able to get her out. That's all that mattered. She moves to one of the windows, trying to look out, but it was still took dark to see what was happening even with the flickers of a glowing light.
Something outside of the train creaks and groans, like metal grinding against something awful. Then the entire car shifts much like before. ]
Wait, what-?!
[ It was barely a warning because Amy's entire body went tumbling backward, legs out from underneath her and body slamming against the backdoor. Her hands scramble around to reach for the nearest object, but her fingers slip the moment they brush against one of the standing poles. Gravity was pressing down on her and she could only grip the floor with her boots and arms against the wall.
Amy's signature glass-shattering scream echoes through the train and carries on until it all comes to a stop. ]
[Marluxia was on his way home, groceries, mostly pasta and coffee, in a bag between his feet. He was dozing off when the train suddenly screeched to a halt, the emergency brakes keeping the cars from careening mindlessly into something. He stood up and wobbled as the train shook, grabbing onto a hand-hold to keep from falling down. People around him bumped him, jostled him, and he almost lost his bag, but it was still there between his legs.
He doesn't scream, or make noise, since there were so many people already doing that very thing. Something told him not to try one of the doors leading outside, but instead, he picked up his bag, slinging it over his shoulder, and headed towards what he thought might have been the conductors car, being pushed and jostled the entire way.
[ Well, he must have managed to get himself pushed and jostled into Amy because she rounds on him the moment she feels something heavy hit her shoulder. She's jumpy, and for a good reason. But she's not sure where this person is in a hurry to. ]
Sorry- [ Wait. Were they going to open the door? She reaches out to grab the person's arm, not forceful but enough to get their attention. ] Hang on. You're not leaving, are you?

[Marluxia almost knocks her off, but manages to control himself. It's not an attack, just someone trying to catch him in the dark. He puts his hand on her arm instead.]
Not outside of the train. Just between cars. There should be canvas coverings that are darkness proof, right?
