Who: Broadway & Syaoran.
When: January 21, early nighttime, after sunset.
Where: Near apartment towers; Outside a closed restaurant.
Summary: Syaoran is caught outside after dark while walking home from his final delivery. He generously, if foolishly, offers to share his food with a… let‘s say “local stray,” and gets a lot more than he bargained for.
Warnings: none that can be determined as of yet.

What would Elisa do?

Yesterday, he’d woken up to news about a little girl who’d disappeared…

Tonight, there was suddenly a thriving slave trade. Between all that, the monsters, and finding a way home, Broadway was going to need his energy.

So, after stretching his wings and going over all the messages in his new little… videophone thingy, that had collected throughout his hibernation, he decided the first thing to do was come up with a plan over a good breakfast. Not having access to groceries or the castle’s expansive kitchen, he settled for the next best thing: cold noodles and pork-stuffed pot stickers salvaged from the trash behind the Ho Garden Chinese restaurant.

There were merits and drawbacks associated with dumpster diving at night. The most obvious benefit was that almost all humans were locked away inside because they were afraid of the creatures that haunted the streets. And the biggest drawback was having to not only fight monsters, but beat them to any decent food that was left. Broadway snatched a Styrofoam box full of goodies away from the beak of one of the many rat-tailed pigeons that seemed to find him so fascinating, and held the box up high while promptly flicking the pathetic bird-rodent in its knobby little head.
