"What an eyesore," the small girl said, walking to the entrance of the old boarding house. She had long, blond hair and was, by all appearances, about ten years old. But, as the saying went, appearances were often deceiving. She was wheeling a black and pink luggage bag behind her, barely big enough for the essentials. She hadn't accrued much in the way of material belongings since arriving, it seemed.
She shielded her eyes from the glare of the overhead sun as she looked over the building in greater detail. It had work done, that was sure, but its age showed through. Who would willingly live in a place like this? Aside from those lacking money. Like herself, she needed to remember, although her own reasons were different.
"I'll have to see what I can do about this," she mumbled to herself under her breath. Evangeline was used to living in immaculate cabins and grandiose castles, and she wasn't one to settle for less. So as long as she called this place home, she would see that it was up to her standards.
Now hopefully somebody could brew up a good cup of tea. Rin knew the ins and outs of making green tea, didn't she?
With that in mind, she strode inside, calling out a generic greeting as she walked in through the door.
