[Mid-afternoon on a rainy day, the coffee shop is all but deserted except for a few brave souls pretending to study while taking advantage of free wi-fi. The noise is at a minimum, which Snake likes - little to bother him except a few whispered conversations, and the noise of others' surface thoughts if he lets his guard down.
He is reading a large and cumbersome volume of braille, twice the size of a book that would be a challenge to lug around in regular print. Snake is the fastidious type, thus, he had arrived for his coffee out with Diego about 10 minutes early. That way, if the prosecutor's schedule got in the way, he would at least have spent the afternoon productively reading.]
