Summary: Jim left Jason his number. Jason called hoping it was Moriarty and a business thing, but it ends up it was a gay post worker. So Jason is now pretending to be gay and they're going on a date. Awkwardness ensues.
Warnings: Potentially some slurs. Otherwise mostly just awkward things.
It had been years since Jason had been on a date, not that this was a date. He wasn't gay and was very confident of that fact, especially considering that, well, he'd had sex with a woman and enjoyed it. This is a chance to get more information about Moriarty, to figure out if there was a connection to Jim at all. Perhaps the post worker was just the messenger, someone convenient and close by and chosen randomly by Moriarty, but there's still the chance that he could possibly be involved in some small way. Above anything else, Jim was the only lead Jason had, so why not follow it up.
He just wished it didn't involve a 'date' and clothes that were far too expensive for him to afford. Good thing the tags are still attached so he can return them because holy crap. So, dressed in a clean pair of jeans, some v-neck shirt, and a loose black jacket, the vigilante entered the coffee shop and sat down in a seat not too close to the door, but not too far, keeping his eyes on all possible exits.
And for any sign of Jim... his 'date.'
