You Don't Know Me Anymore

Who: Godric, OPEN
When: After his arrival.
Where: From the Diamond to Fangtasia.
Summary: Godric's arrival and search for Eric.
Warnings: Umm. Mayhaps violence. idek.

So this was a new world -- an entirely different place with its own existent. It transcended death. He transcended death. Twice, technically. Godric was actually confused for once. It was an old feeling he forgot, lost in the traces of time. It rose in his chest; his brows furrowing. He was wearing the white button up and light khaki's he was last wearing. In the light of the night, he looked nearly glowing. His skin was pale, very pale, a sign that he was a vampire and had not fed in a long time.

But that was not to say he was weak. A two thousand year old was very rarely weak. Which was why he was able to fend off the few monsters he came into contact with. And these were indeed monsters. Godric knew very intimately the way they destroyed. Perhaps not their exact purpose, but they were creatures of stealth and brutality. Much like him.

It may not seem like he has a destination, the way he walks. To any on lookers it looks like he's a lost teenage boy, but while Godric may not know his surroundings, he isn't lost. The old vampire is soaking in this place. It's newness. There's a tainted smile on his face as he moves through the streets. Despite the fact that he longs for the nothingness that comes with the lack of existence, this newness surprises him, and wants to seek out more of it.

However there is a purpose to his journey. Godric felt his Childe the moment he appeared in Siren's Port. He sensed him, felt him in his very bones and fangs. How Eric had arrived before Godric, he wasn't sure. But he knew he needed to see him. Though he knew the other may not feel the same. Godric also knew that Eric would sense him as well, know that he arrived.

Sometime around midnight, Godric arrived at Fangtasia. Somehow he wasn't surprised at this place's existence. This was what his progeny was good at. A light smile appeared as he looked over the building. It seemed one needed some sort of money to get in. Godric had no means of paying nor did he wish the enter the establishment. No. He'd simply wait for Eric to come out. He had the time. It was hours until dawn, and he'd have to come out sometime.

So there he stood for some time, just staring motionless at the building with the age and stillness of someone very old.

ooc: Feel free to bump into him on his travels or notice him outside of the vampire bar.
