Elaine Belloc walks on Sector Seven -- in a park where she remembers exploring earlier that week. Autumn is coming, but for now it's still Summer with clear, sunny skies. She sits on a bench, nearby a fully bloomed yellow rosebush. She inhales the peach-like perfume of the flowers that fills her heart with nostalgia: Memories of another park, of another world and a life that belongs to Cal, but that used to be hers once.
Her smile doesn't wane regardless of that dose of melancholia. It'll be a shame to spoil a perfectly nice day.
