Himawari was able to get the place open and set up about a half an hour before everything was to start. For those who get there early and wish to mingle or meet others there are drinks and snacks in the meeting hall with chairs and tables to sit at. Himawari has offered people to gather information from the tables as soon as they like, so they may read through it all and prepare questions. Otherwise... feel free to chat about with others who have shown up.

Emma arrives about fifteen minutes early and starts reading through the papers, wearing tight blue jeans and a low-cut loose white shirt. She skims everything and places copies in the large purse she's using today.

She's using telepathy in eyes-open mode, not probing but observant. Anyone sensitive to telepathy can feel free to notice this: she's not making a special effort to be stealthy.

[and guess who arrived a little bit later, but still about ten minutes early? This girl. And she's reading through her own papers, pretty intently. In fact she's concentrating a little too hard, there's a short dark haired nun bumping into you Emma]

Oh! I'm so sorry-!

[Emma rocks back and turns around with the momentum, managing not to spill her drink.]

Not a problem. [She offers a hand.] Emma Frost. I'm not actually planning on becoming a Greeter, but I'd like to know what to tell whoever I run into on the Network.

[she looks at Emma's shirt to make sure nothing was spilled... after sighing in relief, she shakes her hand] It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Frost, my name is Iris.

Oh... is there a reason that you don't want to become a greeter?

Likewise, Iris. [A smile.] I'll be starting work Monday as an accountant for Lion's Gate, which pays better. And my friends all but dragged me to where they're living, so I want to spend time around them and I'm not right on site at the diamond. So all in all, I just don't expect to have time to do anything more than make an occasional Network post.

[she laughs softly] That's impressive, you were able to find your footing so quickly.

Talking to people over the network also sounds like a great help! And it's smart of you to attend, the more you know now the more you will be able to pass on to others.

People have been very helpful. My friends took me in and gave me supplies as well as a place to stay. Many people chimed in with job offers and advice for where to look for others when I posted a job request to the network. It was all a tremendous help and I'm trying to be in a position to pass on my assistance as well.

From not too far across the room, the Doctor glances around. While the feeling was familiar, he hadn't felt that feeling in a few decades. Years? No, probably decades.

Time travel really did make it hard to keep up with those sorts of things.

A telepathic broadcast, crisp and perfectly enunciated but faint to well below normal sensitivity: Hello, can you hear me?

[OOC: Does the surface of the Doctor's mind look human? I'd assume he could figure out how to do that and he's certainly had the time to learn how if he wanted to bother. But has he taken the trouble to learn how, and if so, is he projecting the illusion at the moment?]

The Doctor arrives early. For any other individual, this might be considered wholly unremarkable. However, for the Doctor, it was quite a feat.

Of course, perhaps his uncharacteristic punctuality could attributed to a certain ginger companion who may or may not have told him that the meeting started four hours ago.

[ Hey, who could blame her? If five minutes means twelve years, then she really should have asked him to be there yesterday, but that would be a bit too cruel. Of course, Amy wasn't the one who was constantly late, so she arrives just before the meeting but not quite as early as the Doctor.

It makes her smile to see him there, waiting. So, she sneaks up on him. ]

Heeey. Look at you, actually on time for something.

[Allen was as clean and proper as he could get, for the first time in what felt like ages. his left sleeve was empty of an arm, and he still had a bit of a lilt to his step, but he was up and aware in every other way.]

[he even arrived a bit early, looking this way and that with a curious expression. he'd probably talk to anyone, if they approached first.]

[Oruha doesn't quite recognize Allen, but she's quite familiar with the golden winged golem perched on his shoulder.

smiling, she goes over to say hello, figuring that the white haired young man was the golem's owner]

[Allen doesn't notice Oruha right away-- but Timcanpy surely does.]

[the golem's like a rocket, taking off immediately to alternate between fluttering around her and nuzzling into her hair. Allen, for his part, just looks a bit wide-eyed and startled, blinking owlishly at her -]

I, ah - I'm sorry, ma'am! He's normally better behaved than this...!

[giggling, Oruha pets the golden golem showering her with affection]

Oh, it's all right. I've missed him quite a bit, too.

[to Tim:] You seem to be doing well.
