She was getting used to the modern ways of this city. While a good deal of people of advanced age might have floundered and tried to stick to their old ways, Retsu did no such thing. To live as long as she had and still be effective took adaptive ability. And truly, she found much of the technology and modernity to be quite charming overall. She could find no real complaint to her life here.
And life was meant to be experienced, to be enjoyed. There was little point to staying cooped up in her apartment save for work. And so she could often be found at various places in the city, seeing what modern culture and convenience had to offer.
