and I'm about to break-- )
he opens the door, himself; for this meeting, he'd dismissed fang and vincent. it would be better for elliot to find him alone. and so he is, dressed in simple trousers and a blouse vincent had chosen for him, his hair pulled back in a slender violet ribbon. his mouth curls faintly as he steps back to allow elliot inside, strange-beautiful eyes oddly bright without the shield of his glasses and bangs to obscure them ( ... )

Also, those earrings-- were they..? No, they couldn't be.
Elliot paused before slowly walking through the doorway, glancing around before stopping a few feet within. The fact his 'friend' talked so casually pissed him off. Being in this house pissed him off. Yet he felt some sort of joy knowing Leo was alright. He wasn't hurt in anyway since he last saw him, and Elliot had been grateful.
But at long last, Elliot finally gave his response. His tone remained flat and quiet; he was here for business, not pleasantries but it might make things a bit less depressing that way.]
Fine. We'll talk then. [He avoided direct eye contact as he turned around and waited for the other to follow. ( ... )

[ he takes a breath, and it shudders out of him like a dying man. he wants to reach out and grab elliot, he wants to tell him that this is all, all for him, but-- he can't do that. he doesn't want the other boy to blame himself for anything leo does. so-- he can't. he can't breathe a word of his true intentions to his former master.
he brushes past elliot, gesturing him to follow him to the kitchen. it's an unglamorous place for the duke of baskerville to break his fast, perhaps, but leo isn't much like other nobility. he'd come from a poor family, for one thing, and he thinks most of their behaviour is a bit ridiculous.
breakfast is already set out for both of them in the little nook, and leo slides into the seat on his side, lifting his cup of tea to take a careful sip, his unusual gaze fixed on elliot over the rim. when he lowers it again, he sets it down with a careful clink on its saucer. ]
.. I suppose you have questions.

[It was fact, after all. But 'questions' weren't the only reasons Elliot had come to this residence. He had demands; he wanted him to come back with him. But it wasn't going to be easy and the anger brewing needed to be subsided. For now, at least.
He needed to be civil. Could he at least do that for a few minutes? He hasn't seen Leo for a long time and being furious doesn't feel like the proper greeting he should have given. But what else could have been done? A shake of his own head was given before he began moving his feet. One slow step at a time, Elliot didn't quite take a seat yet.
Instead, he placed a hand on the back of his would-be chair before his expression softened. He really did have a lot of questions but figured not many could be answered at once. Not while their companionship was beginning to falter. Brow furrowed, he focused on Leo before speaking.]
You've really changed. What happened..? Back home, I mean?

You died, Elliot. I couldn't.. protect you, and you died. [ he glances back up at the blond, swallowing hard. ] It came out then that I'm Glen Baskerville's reincarnation, and Pandora took me in. I don't-- know what they were planning to do with me. [ a faint, bitter tilt of his lips. ] Kill me, maybe, or Seal me away again, or.. use me until I was burned up. Who knows.
[ he glances away, toward the doorway. ]
.. Vincent came for me. He was.. the only one who-- [ a pause, glancing back down at his teacup again, turning it slightly in its saucer. ] Anyway, I can't-- fight it any longer. And I don't have a reason to, anymore.
