Where: The Aquarium for SHARK WEEK.
Summary: Clark and Jason try to be normal, shenanigans will likely ensue.
Warnings: Maybe mentions of violence.
Jason didn't like this whole waiting around thing. Sure, he knew it was necessary, but he felt too much like a kid waiting for his dad to show up (as much as the comparison was untrue, too) that it verged on the point of intensely uncomfortable. He'd been left waiting too many times to not feel deeply vulnerable as he waited by the front door. To try and calm a few of those nerves, he flicked a cigarette out of the pack in his pocket and lit it, taking a drag as he stared out at the civillians from behind a pair of innocent black frames.
The 'disguise' was weird to him and trying to play the happy civillian even weirder. Sure, he could play the dumb American kid to anyone who didn't know him, but he felt at a distinct disadvantage because he'd outed himself to Clark within two minutes of meeting him. Mistake, huge mistake, but there was no going back on it now and would have to deal with the chore of entertaining Clark until he finally just left, as Jason saw it as inevitable. Then, Jason could go back to his usual routine of killing dirtbags without remorse. Finally.
