"It's about Sharon-sama."

"Mhm~? what about her exactly. Are you here to tell me her trip has been extended? "

"She disappeared."

"... Disappeared? ... "
In other words, explain..

"I went to her room one day and she wasn't there. When I tried to contact her through her NV, the network gave me an error message. Several people on the network said that she probably just went home."

Break turned his head away from Reim, his single claret eye was low in his sightless glance. The tea cup set aside and Emily brushed from his lap and onto the table, cookie left to tumbled and break on the floor.
It took the Clown a good few long moments before he spoke or moved again. Smiling brightly with his eye closed, clasping his hands together. That happy, carefree mask came into play, Reim should know it well by now, he might seem fine? But that couldn't be more from the truth.
"So! we've got an extra room in the house now then. How about we give Oscar his own doggy den~?"
Reply
"I really wish you wouldn't fake happiness like that, Xerxes."
Reply
"Please, do tell me, how exactly do you wish for me to react, hm? Shall I cry? shout or go insane?"
Oh it was so painful, so very painful indeed. Reim had done this to him once before, though he'd remembered nothing of it, Reim had vanished, died and gone back home.. so of course for his Mistress to now be missing it was unbearable.

"I want you to be honest with me. Anything that happens in this room won't leave. You don't have to fake happiness here."
He stopped there. There's no need to turn this into a lecture. He knew that was the last thing Break needed.

Sharon vanishing, so soon after her and Break had just started to get back to normal, it was almost like this port was taunting him. Reim had been his oldest friend, he was right, there was no need to fake anything with him, and normally, that wouldn't factor in, Break would fake and smile and laugh no matter the situation- but this port was taking its toll on the old clown. He felt weaker more and more each day now. His sight had been reduced down to nothing more than the odd shadow, and even that was hard to tell apart from the darkness that swam over his eyes.
Yes, Break was dangerously close to breaking down. He raised his hand, slowly, shaking as he lightly trembled. Touching just below his empty eye socket. So nostalgic . Sliding his fingers up as he pushed two fingertips into the tender, hollow space. His lips parted, quivered a little as the digits explored the haunted groove ( ... )

Reim lets go of Break's wrist and digs into his pocket for a handkerchief. The only one he can find is the one he cleans his glasses with. It doesn't matter now - he'll get a new one. He reaches up, cloth in hand, and brushes the blood away. Break hasn't done that in years. Now, Reim is really concerned. This place has probably been far too much for Break. But, Reim knows saying he'll always be here for him wouldn't work. The port takes people away. So what does he say? Nothing? No, certainly not.
When all of the blood is gone, Reim pulls the handkerchief away. He's silent for a moment. Then, he shoves the handkerchief back in his pocket absentmindedly. He isn't entirely sure what to say, so excuse his wibbling here. He wants to help.
"I... can't promise I'll always be in this world for you... as I've already left once, but... I will promise that, as long as I am here, you can depend on me."

Allowing Reim to tend to his eye, offering a half smile the whole time. It didn't really hurt, not anymore, Break was pretty much numb now anyway's, his body was riddled with scars and damage from carrying the burden of having contracted to two Chain's, illegal and kosha.
The wibbling is adorable, really it is, Break actually felt kind of bad, always causing poor Reim so much stress and worry. "That'll do." He said, in a hushed, gentle voice. Reaching out, feeling for Reim and pulling him into a rather awkward hug.
"What would I do without you?..."

What an odd question. What would Break do without him? Certainly a question Reim posed to himself when Break was off putting his own life in danger, but never one asked of him directly. Reim frowned lightly, considering not answering the question at all.
"I'm sure you'd manage somehow."
Maybe, but would he want to? Probably not.
