Who: Anyone and everyone who chooses to drop by the NCC for the Bake Sale!
When: June 11th through the 15th.
Where: The Newcomer Community Center
Summary: Through sunshine, rain, and riots, the bake sale goes on.
Warnings: Haruhi Suzumiya-related shenanigans, most likely. Threads will be subdivided into days; don't forget to note if a thread is open or closed, and also whether it's at the maid cafe or bake sale areas, or somewhere else in the NCC entirely.

[ Somehow, miraculously, the NCC has neither burned down nor been looted of its contents. It was already halfway through the bake sale, and despite the numerous problems they'd encountered along the way (having rioters rampage past them on their first day and having one of their maids collapse in the middle of serving customers after that) things seemed to be smoothing out at last.

One end of the NCC's multipurpose hall is set up as a bake sale, with plenty of tables bearing whatever pastries or other baked goods have been donated for the day; the other end serves as the maid cafe, with small tables (two chairs for each) and servers lined up and ready to usher their guests to a seat. While the mood can't be said to be festive, it's certainly less tense than the last few days had been. More locals can be seen filtering in and out of the arrangements, more out of curiosity than anything else, but so far there hasn't been trouble. Yet.

With any luck, there won't be. ]

[ ooc; Anyone who was at the NCC on the 10th is free to have noticed that Yako was the maid who collapsed, though the exact reasons as to why have yet to be discussed. Either way, she's conspicuously absent on the 11th and the morning of the 12th. o/ ]
