[Raven's wearing her leotard without the cloak-- it just wouldn't be appropriate, even though she'd rather wear it-- and resolutely reading, reclined in a deck chair.

She's not very focused on it, though, and is clearly kind of drifting off and just relaxing.]

[Erik pushes himself out of the water, padding softly over to her.]

Hello Raven.

[She glances up from the book and gives him a polite nod.]

Hi.

Settling in all right? [He grapes a towel and starts to towel off.]

Good. Which more people moving in, I was wondering if installing Psi-dampers in your apartment might be something you'd need?

[She blinks.] Well, if it's too much trouble, no, I don't need it.

It might be useful, but even if you do install them, I'd rather keep them off most of the time-- I don't want to get used to that feeling too much, unless necessary.

It's no trouble. Dampers, at least as I build them, normally have dials on them to be off, fully on, and levels between. I understand now wanting to rely on dampers, but I also understanding need them at times.

[She nods a little reluctantly.]

In that case, I'd appreciate it. And once again, I owe you one. If I can make you something useful with magic... [She shrugs.]

You're welcome.

What can you make? [Causally asked but he's interested.]

[She thinks for a second.]

Well, I can't make anything permanent, as such, I guess. I can enchant things. Depends on the spell books I can find here. There's a lot more possibilities than things I've actually done-- protective rings, adding some magic to a weapon, that kind of thing.

I was thinking off adding some magical protection to this place, if that's possible?

The whole building? It would take a while, but it wouldn't be impossible. Is that protection from magical attacks, or magically-based protection against other things?

Right now, I believe protection from magical attacks is more paramount, given we have...very little.

[Hmm, so it isn't someone specific he's concerned with, it seems. She nods.]

Maybe I could add an magic-dispelling enchantment to the walls, then. Should at least delay any magical attacks until they can find a way to get rid of it.

[Not yet, no.]

That sounds good. Would you need anything?
