[As the afternoon crawls on closer to evening, it's fairly quiet inside the S.S. Kahve. Most of the usual customers have already gotten their daily caffeine fix, and there are plenty of things to do on a Saturday in Siren's Port.
There's something new, though; a small stage set up in the back of the coffeehouse, with chairs and a comfy couch or two arranged to seat an audience in front of it. A single microphone rests on a stand in the stage's center, in front of a tall stool.
People start to trickle in a while before the scheduled start time, enjoying free snacks and ordering drinks from the permanent coffee bar. When the clock strikes five, there's a decent crowd, although it's hard to say how many people intend to read and how many just want to enjoy the evening. Kahve's first poetry slam is about to begin.]
