Some light reading (open to all)

May 15, 2011 20:31

Who: Phibrizzo and OPEN
When: All day (specify time of day in the subject line)
Where: the library
Summary: Phibrizzo is learning about Siren's Port and reflecting (general CR building post)
Warning: Probably nothing more than PG. Also, action tags are fine with me. Just stay consistent in format.

Phibrizzo sat at one of the tables available at the library, flipping through a large tome of the history of Siren's Port. As someone who had lived for roughly five thousand years, he was aware of the importance of learning the lessons history had to offer. In fact, he wanted to read the history books in the AGI and SERO sponsored university libraries, just to see what historic details each company emphasized, downplayed, or completely omitted. History books were, after all, only as reliable as their authors.

His small feet dangled down from the chair he sat on, his legs not long enough for his feet to touch the floor. Although he was focused on the history book for now, he had several plays piled up in a small stack to study for the kids' program at the Felton theatre. None of the reading material was standard for an eight year old, but Phibrizzo saw no reason to dumb down his reading level that much for the sake of making his act more convincing. There was such thing as a gifted child, and people were less concerned about his well-being when he showed that he had some plan of action.

At the moment, though, his mind was not on his reading. Instead, it was on Death and her departure. The small Hellmaster should have been glad to have one of the few beings capable of posing a real threat to him gone, but it wasn't what he wanted. Threats could be useful when treated with the appropriate respect. As casual as it sounded, addressing her as Big Sis had been high respect from him. It was acknowledging kinship from one controller of death to the Death of all Deaths, and acknowledging that she was his elder with those two words.

Phibrizzo was distracted from both his thoughts and his reading when he heard footsteps approaching. He glanced over his shoulder to see who it was.

"Hello," he greeted, feet swinging back and forth idly under his chair.
