Of course his presence in the manor had been noticed; it was not as if everyone could be rather subtle in the way it had worried them all. Jack most of all, but that was to be expected. His two young servants, not so young anymore, had been especially upset, which was a given. Not that he was waiting for them to come and try to murder him in his sleep.

In fact, there was a lot he was not waiting to do. This meeting promised to be amusing as well as interesting, and when he made his presence to the two young boys in the sitting room, he made sure to bow properly. He had them to thank for not keeping him in that pitiful apartment, after all.

"Good afternoon," He said softly, straightening up after.

"Afternoon!" said Alois, bright and cutting in before Ciel could bring his formalities up; his chin was tilted up, he wore a curve-eyed smile, and he placed one hand at his chest while holding his other arm out to the side. "It's really nice to formally meet you," he went on, not sounding very noble right now, "Master Baskerville, right? Will that do for addressing you? I've heard about you here and there."

And then his hands lowered and he folded them behind his back, giving a more boyish smile, leaning to the side a little bit.

"I'm glad you've deigned to join us. It honors me to sit with a friend of Jack's- yes, and a Duke, too, isn't it?"

Formal, finally, but not quite as polite.

Not polite in the least, at least when it came to addressing a Duke. Even so, Ciel didn't bother to chide or correct Alois as he stood from his seat when the man entered, a hand out in welcome as he did so.

"Lord Baskerville. It's a pleasure to finally get to sit and have tea with you."

His seat was then taken again, beside Alois as Ciel picked up his teacup and saucer, bringing the rim to his lips.

"I hope you don't mind Darjeeling tea?"

Of course these two children would be on a first name basis with Jack. His lips curved into the barest of smiles.

"Any friends of Jack's are friends of mine. Master Baskerville seems too long, please, call me Master Glen," He said softly, taking a seat as well.

"Darjeeling tea sounds fine," He said to Ciel, looking at Alois for a moment before picking up his own cup.

"What is it that you've heard, may I ask?"
