[Hakkai had left Jeep in the parking lot outside the hospital, knowing that pets were rarely allowed in medical facilities. After speaking a little to the receptionist and then a doctor, it seemed like he would have better luck being 'on call' rather than a permanent position. It wasn't too bad, though.

After his small meeting, the young man took a quick peek around the hospital - the amount of technology and cleanliness was rather breathtaking and he tried to remember as much of the things he saw for later. Treating his comrades wounds were never a trouble, but his own might need a new trick or two.

He was standing and reading a medical poster on a wall when he was suddenly attacked by pre-packaged food and a girl carrying them. He tried to catch some of the food, and then smiled a little at the young woman.]

Oh my. Are you alright, miss?

[Meanwhile, Maya's first response when the encounter happened-]

Eeeeek!

[Maya flailed when the food went flying in a vain attempt to catch things. Of course, she managed to catch nothing. Before she could bend down to retrieve the food herself, though, she suddenly realized she'd almost bumped into someone]

Ah, sorry! I'm okay! I, the.. um...

[Before she could come up with a suitable excuse, but it suddenly occurred to her that she knew this person]

Ahhh! You're.... You're Mr. Hakkai, right?

[It takes him a moment to remember where he had heard her voice before, but then slowly realizes that it is the sweet and bubbly girl with the amusing movie-impression. Maya, was it?]

That's right. And you are Ms. Maya?

[He calmly hands her the food he had managed to catch and then bends down to pick up the rest.]

It's very nice to meet you in person, even if I was not prepared to be attacked by food, ah ha ha~

[Maya takes it, balancing it pretty badly, and then bends down to help him]

Um, um, just Maya is okay, Mr. Hakkai! Thank you.

[She smiles a little sheepishly at that, then promptly tries to justify herself... sort of.]
