[In all honesty, Alice was kind of used to it, especially since she had a boxer like Yugo for a friend. There was no awkwardness at all as she stepped into the gym, smiling. She put on her most comfortable outfit for this since she was sure things were going to get a bit rough.]

[Ken sits upright at the voice--calm down, Hidaka, you were expecting her--and offers a pale smile. Sorry, Alice, he's not feeling like his usual perky self today.]

Hey. Hope I wasn't interrupting any important plans.

[She notices the lack of perk, but she smiles and decides that he needs some cheering up. If this was what it took to do so, then why not?]

No, not at all. And besides that, I shouldn't just be all work and no play.

He gets up from the floor, then starts to stretch his arms by grabbing his elbow behind his head.]

[Alice puts her fists up in front of her, bouncing a little.]

[She darts forward to strike Ken with a right jab.]

[Dang, she's quick. Ken wasn't quite expecting that. He quickly moves to block, then lashes out with his left knee, trying to strike her in the gut with it.]

[While most girls might call that playing dirty, Alice is used to fighting against people with all kinds of styles and she's not all that surprised. She draws back a little, the knee barely grazing her stomach. Then in retaliation, she decides to do a flip kick to knock Ken back.]

[Ken wasn't joking when he said he uses any style it takes to win--there's no such thing as clean fighting when you're an assassin. Ken takes the flip kick with a quiet grunt, skidding backwards but keeping his footing. He follows with an open-handed swipe with his left hand, a distraction tactic for the roundhouse kick that follows.]

[Alice barely dodges the swipe, but the roundhouse kick hits hard to the side of her head, knocking her to the side of the training hall. She grits her teeth and gets up. A single hit won't take her down just yet. She calmly returns to her stance, waiting for Ken's next attack.]
