Except before he could get started, he noticed a human with pretty strong spiritual pressure coming out of the arena thingy. Nnoitra grinned as he studied the newcomer and wondered if he'd be worth fighting. Santa Teresa was on his shoulders as he approached the guy.
"Pretty strong spiritual pressure ya got there, human."

"Is that so." Severus said, sounding completely uninterested in the creature that stood before him. "I'll be sure to take note of that." Although, from the tone in his voice, he would not be doing that at any time in the near or distant future.

Nnoitra grinned as he ran the nearest one through with his hand. The blob-like creature fell to the ground with a splat, its black blood staining Nnoitra's arm.
"Better use yer shit cuz I sure as fuck ain't savin' yer ass," he said, Santa Teresa a blur as he decapitated two more monsters. He'd see what this guy was all about, and if it was interesting or strong enough, maybe he'd take him on.

That was not good. Not at all. And what was worse, more appeared to be coming, different creatures crawling out toward the stranger and himself. Severus scowled, watching the man as he destroyed a few more.
"I do not need to be saved," he informed him, even as an awkward, almost human creature lumbered toward him. He looked at it, not quite willing to kill the creature just yet. Even though this violent, vulgar man was obviously not a muggle, Severus was not willing to show what he was to him. And the creature didn't seem to be attacking just yet. He was sure he could avoid it if he just walked away from this whole mess.

He saw another approaching the guy, but made no move to intervene. The stranger wasn't defending himself and Nnoitra shook his head. He fucking hated cowards.
"Tch. Coulda fooled me." Nnoitra opened his mouth wide and stuck out his tongue, his rank hanging out for all to see as he fired off a cero into the middle of a hoard of monsters that had just appeared from an alley. They were vaporized along with a good chunk of the surrounding buildings. He cackled as what was left of the couple of dozen shitheads flopped to the ground.
"Well? Ya gonna act like some fuckin' pussy, or ya gonna show me what ya got?"

At least until the tip of the man's tongue began to glow, and a beam of light shot from the end of it. That was not something Severus was used to seeing, or even something he had read about before. What on earth was that? Was the man some sort of dragon hybrid?
Severus did not know, but he did know that he would not stand for the creature turning his obscene language toward him. He did not remove his wand from his pocket, wiggling it only slightly.
Langlock, he thought. That would silence the foul mouthed man-beast. He stepped away from the night-creature that lunged toward him. It did not seem to be very bright, he was sure he could avoid it.

Two more of the shitty monsters picked then to come at him. Nnoitra grabbed one in a rage and slammed it into the ground, cracking up the pavement. He banged his booted foot into the other, sending it through a nearby wall.
Then he turned his attention to his rebellious tongue. Fucking thing wasn't moving! Nnoitra reached inside his mouth and tried to pry it loose. When it still wouldn't move, he ripped the thing out and threw it on the ground. It landed with a splat at the guy's feet.
"u'cn 'ell," he said, his tongue already growing back a little bit, but not enough for him to make sense of his own words.

He turned toward it, removing his wand from his pocket. It was shambling at him, long arms outstretched to try and grab him. Instead of destroying it like Nnoitra did, he used a backhanded motion to knock it away from him.

So much for worrying about the strange, foul-mouthed humanoid. Severus sneered at him, knowing that he was probably trying to speak, trying to force his tongue to work even though he wasn't able to.
"If you've decided you've had enough of spewing vulgari--"

He had torn out his tongue.
Severus stared, and even jumped back when the wet, twitching muscle landed at his feet. Blood spattered the hems of his robes, and he jerked his wand up to defend himself from any more appendages that might come flying his way. The horrified wizard stared at the tongue, his own quite still in his mouth as if fearing the same fate.
But Severus was not under the effects of the Langlock hex, and he was able to force his tongue to move after a long, long minute.
"Confringo!" He snarled, jabbing his wand toward the vile, disgusting thing at his feet. The spell glowed brightly, then the tongue exploded in flames as the spell made contact. " Aguamenti!" The flames were doused in water that spouted from the tip of his wand ( ... )

Nnoitra's eye widened. He had no idea what the fuck this shit was, but it wasn't anything he'd ever seen before. Not at home, not in paradise, and not in this dump! Fucking weird.
"'he hell i' thi' 'hit?" he asked, his tongue only half grown.

"If you are saying what I think you are, then this is a wand." He scowled at Nnoitra. "And if you do not want to suffer the same fate as that... piece of yourself, I suggest you leave and do not return." He glared his most ferocious at the creature, twitching his wand the slightest bit.
