Who: Van and Midna
When: Early morning, Feb. 17
Where: A dark and probably kinda smelly alley.
Summary: Van's been dumped after getting his heart stolen by a creepy old man. :| Midna finds him.
Warnings: ...none I can think of?
Something was different. Something was wrong. Beyond the curtain of glossy black feathers in front of his face, of course, that was wrong and Van thought he should feel worse about that, maybe. His brother's wings had turned black, and he'd been disturbed by that. And thinking back, he remembered being afraid very recently.
He didn't feel any of that now. Just a dull, physical ache in his chest, and a sensation of burning where light had struck his arms and wings, as if he'd been out too long and gotten a sunburn. And he couldn't remember, exactly, why that was. He just remembered darkness, and pain, and waking up in the street. Confused as to where he was, and with the rising sun burning against his wings and arms, Van had just retreated to a darkened alleyway and wrapped his wings around his shoulders to block out the light and the rest of the world while he got himself together.
