Who: A Certain Scientific Vampire (
tiersdes ) and A Certain Scientific Psychic (
soldiershin )
When: The 14th
Where: A place where little girls should not be in---er, Lion's Gate
Summary: A Crusnik and another (yes, another!) Mu cross paths inside a nightclub.
Warnings: mild violence, Seth being Seth.
Okay, so her first attempt at trying to survey Lion's Gate had failed. Miserably. No, scratch that---somewhat miserably, because nobody managed to apprehend her. So she had that to salvage part of her dignity. It more than made up for jumping into a dumpster, crawling out of it, and then running around barefoot with her (really, really pretty! and really, really expensive!) dress all torn-up to hell and then having to deal with the Darkness critters.
That hadn't been a very good night. Shiroe probably would've laughed at her (and she would kill him). Hope and Allen...probably would've started fretting (and she would tease them). Yosuke probably would've worried about it too, but once she gave him a made-up story about catfighting with another girl, he probably would've just laughed it off (because alcohol could make one do very stupid things, if that night was anything to go by.).
But tonight would be different. Tonight would be different because she was in disguise! Wearing a long brown wig, a different dress (longer this time. last time, she could've sworn more than a few male clubgoers were trying to look up her other dress), contact lenses to hide the color of her eyes, and had been practicing an Albion accent for the past few days.
Giggling all the while as she strides in (past the initial guards who---miraculously---didn't seem to recognize her), she remembers that today is Valentine's Day. A time for love, chocolates, and letting loose. You would think she's just on a date with some dashing young gent, but she's got different ideas.
She'd heard (well, okay, scared and harrassed some poor information broker in the Underground Mall) that some executives from SERO were going to be here today. And they would have their entourages with them. So this was the game plan: deal with the small fries---their grunts---first. They would more than likely be posted all around the club, and she knew bodyguards when she saw them. After all, she'd been an Empress for much of her life and had personal experience to go by in terms of how entourages worked.
Although she's laughing, joking around, and sometimes flirting with some of her fellow clubgoers, she's on the prowl. And that's when she sees one of the bodyguards kind of just hanging around in a far corner of the club.
Nanomachine, Crusnik-03----release of restrictions at 10%---approved.
If a particularly astute, perhaps similarly-powered, individual were watching, they'd see that the small brown-haired girl has suddenly vanished.
And the bodyguard, too.
