Who: Sissel and YOU!
When: Daytime
Where: A small corner store in sector 4
Summary: Sissel's accidentally stranded himself in a convenience store, and is looking for somebody to hitch a ride out with.
Warnings: Nada
For the third time in as many hours, the clerk was irritably wiping up a spill over by the fridge. Just one of those days, it seemed. First the phone lines were down, forcing him to take every transaction in cash and do the math in his head for change... then all the customers got mad about it and yelled at him. Now every time he turned around something was getting knocked over or spilled or toppled. First an entire row of cleaning products leapt off the shelves, then an scraper, then a jug of windshield washer fluid. Now the fridge doors had been opening and closing of their own accord, and a bottle of milk had fallen out and shattered on the ground.
"Why didn't I keep working at that burger joint? At least there the place smelled good," the clerk muttered as he mopped up the puddle. "Here, I get to work two graveyard shifts in a row, and then this happens!"
He sighed heavily. "I better stop griping I guess. A job's a job... and somebody might be listening."
Like me, Sissel thought from the hot chocolate machine he was inhabiting. Though I feel kind of bad for the guy... I should probably be a little bit more careful.
Leaving the apartment through the phone line, Sissel had been exploring the city as phone calls directed him here and there. It was nice to have the time and the freedom to look around at things for once, and there was always the hope that investigating would help to jog his memory somehow. No luck on that so far... though he had an idle thought that it was a shame all that tasty milk went to waste on the floor. Does a body good, after all. If only I had a body.
If I did, I could just get up and walk out the door. But since the phone line's not working, I'm stuck here until I find a way out.
Hopefully a customer will come along soon and I can hitch a ride with them. It's a cold day. Somebody's bound to want a hot chocolate...
[OOC: Good job apping a dead guy, GG. This one might take a bit of creativity to get the interaction going. Sissel will hop to the first inanimate object he can reach (eg: your character walks by with something) and somehow make himself known after that. If your character has abilities that would let them hear him, it's cool by me! Otherwise, he'll have to try to reach out to them some other way.]
