Who: Yuffie and Edgeworth
When: Night of the 12th. (Thank goodness she's good at dealing with this darkness thing or there would be all the problems ever.)
Where: Edgey's apartment.
Summary: Yuffie promised she'd find information for the jerk. She's making good on the promise.
Warnings:Language.

Great.

That's what this was. Just plain great.

She'd rather be helping Tifa get settled in, which was actually good and amazing and wonderful cause it was Tifa which meant that everything would get better, cause Tifa could make anything better. As it was? She was taking bad news to a guy who was a downright JERK to her at every opportunity and treated her like she was an idiot.

It hadn't been the hardest to get, and she'd tried her hardest to make it so she couldn't get traced, but still. It was all a mess, and she'd gone in without a plan. And that had kicked her in the ass. She'd had to knock the guy out, though it wasn't like that was any kind of tragedy. He was probably taking some kind of hidden payout some how. The more she looked, the more crooked everything looked. And the more crooked everything looked, the more she felt like she was back in the early days of the WRO, trying to piece back together all of the information Shinra had left all over the place into one coherent story.

Only good thing she could say about the whole thing was that it was really nothing new for her.

It felt like she was back at work, only she wasn't getting paid. Which sucked. But she was trying to take down slavery. So she would totally let that slide. No question.

She knocked on the door, checking it where she'd made the note on her NV screen. She had a damn good memory, but she was in such a mood she didn't trust it on trivial stuff like the apartment of the biggest downer in the place.
