Took me a bit to figure out how to tag this. Sorry for the shortness. turntodarkness February 7 2011, 21:38:28 UTC
It had been curiosity that had driven him to finally confront the Remnant. What he had said upon their first meeting... Brother. So when he'd finally noticed the strange boy out and about, he'd simply had to explore the possibilities. Someone to exploit... It's something he had sorely missed from his own worlds. So with a twist of shadows, he simply appears. Beyond the reach of the creatures, of course, lest he possibly be ripped to shreds. There is only silence, a nod in greeting as he bars Yazoo's path.

The scent of a new Darkness just before the other appears is enough for Yazoo to halt, creatures following suit. He knows it- a familiar one that clings to Riku faintly and grows when he fights. His eyes are locked onto the other when he appears, pupils slit in the same way a snake's would be, turning all of his focus onto the other.

If he had not of known better, he would of thought him Sephiorth.

"So you show yourself." Yazoo says, tilting his head, stepping forward alone. Yes, in person it was hard to deny the similarities, so much so that there could be no other explanation other than being one of them.

Or above them, like the Original was.

Yes, in person it is quite easy to notice the striking resemblance to Riku. However, he of all people knows that a resemblance is only that. A Shadow, given proper instruction, can resemble someone. But that doesn't mean that he can't use this all to his own advantage. That's another thing about resemblances most seem to forget: that it can be exploited until all benefits are reaped or another figures it out.

"Indeed. Call it curiosity," he says, quite simply. The one before him is such ab oddity already. An anomaly. There is a deep darkness there, and normally, this would make him more interested in preying upon him. But there is something missing: a heart. And that intrigues him all the more.

now with his focus on this newcomer, the rain and his thoughts about it slide to the back of Yazoo's mind. This was one of Mother's children, or so he and Kadaj seemed to think.

He had to be treated with a little more caution. "And what is it you are so curious about?" He asks, coming to a stop several feet in front of the other, watching and waiting...

"...Brother."

Brother. How... Strange a word. Amnesia of most of his past life means he knows nothing of his family. He only has vague recollections of important things from soon before his memory becomes reliable. So he can only make guesses as to what his family was like.

"I remember nothing of my family. And yet you claim we are brothers," he says, remaining quite complacent and bordering on submissive. It is best to not make himself a threat.

No prob! argentallure February 14 2011, 16:53:41 UTC
Yazoo tilts his head, rain steaming down his uncovered face, cutting a wet trail between his eyes and down the side of his face. He spreads one arm out to the side, a gesture more likely of Kadaj than him, but for now...

"You look like one of us." It's enough, in their mind, to be a fact in their mind. But there was also more. "You have the same darkness as some of our brothers as well."

"You are Riku's other, are you not?" His other, the same as Sephiroth was to them, perhaps? All he knew is that he was drawn to the man somewhat.

Looking like one of them? Where he is from, there are many with silver hair. That is the only similarity he can see. However, the comment about the darkness, and then Riku piques his interest. Hm. how to proceed...

"One could say that. He is someone whose body I once required to regain my strength," he offers in explanation, leaving it otherwise ambiguous as to why he needed Riku.

That statement is enough to send shivers down his spine. How much more similar could this become? It only further strengthens his notion that they were indeed, of the same family.

"We are vessels of Sephiroth as well." Yazoo states, eyes hooded as he watches the other, as the mind that shares space with his own perks in interest of the conversation. For now though, he wills Kadaj to stay at the church rather than to come here. Eyes slit in a feline manner watch Ansem carefully, looking for reactions.

"And to return Mother."
