Aoi swallowed hard, dragging in a deep breath through his nose. He wasn't forcing himself to stop crying, he just needed to talk to Kazura- there was so much he wanted to say. "You've been comatose for four days. The Joker was caught and he'll be put on trial."
His heart was still racing but he could feel the edge of panic fading as Kazura remained awake and lucid, his skin warm and very much real beneath Aoi's fingertips. He wasn't dreaming and Kazura was awake; Aoi wouldn't let him slip away again.

He'd been relieved to hear the man had woken up the night before. Very relieved. He'd gotten a relatively minor head injury himself, although the cut was healed now, the concussion healing. He hadn't even noticed the injury at first, concerned for the others. He should have killed the madman when he had the chance, law and plans be damned.
Softly he knocked on the door and announced himself, keeping his pitch and volume low. "Officer Iha? It's Michael Xavier."

Jomy approached the bed carefully, stopping when he was an arm's length away. His eyes skittered across Kazura's expression, both checking his mood and his condition at the same time. Nervousness wasn't quite what he felt, but there was undeniably a small pinch of squirming anxiety at the pit of his stomach at least.
A quiet breath out. Well, best to get it over with. "Ih-
