Summary: A chance meeting in the darkness

[It's not as though it's unexpected, finding himself surrounded by Darkness monsters on the walk back to Riku's from work. In recent nights, he even sought it out, looking for creatures to match him, relishing the chance to cleanse his mind in simple violence, but even that seems to have lost its savor lately. Maybe since Xion disappeared; he doesn't know for sure. A pack of things with four paws and greasy, bristling fur is making its advance, and he looks at them without much expression, gesturing almost perfunctorily to send up fire out of the Darkness. He doesn't wait to see if they're dead before moving on. There's always something stalking him out here, and sooner or later it may kill him anyway.]
[Halfway down the block he pauses again, something emerging out of the shadows into the street in front of him. At first all he sees are the yellow, bulbous eyes; the rest of the creature's body blends in completely with the darkness.]
One of you, huh? [He studies the Shadow, curious; the little Heartless sluggish and slow to approach. It hears footsteps at the same time Axel does, and they both glance up toward the sound--Axel to see who else is wandering the Darkness, the Shadow seeking a heart.]
