It was a good thing he had read through the news that day, since there couldn't be anything better than walking around through the day like a zombie, right?

He must have been annoying the people who were dressing him up and throwing stuff on his face, since he couldn't stop grimacing and wrinkling his nose at the cold material being slathered on his skin, and couldn't stop swinging his legs in his chair either. But it was exciting! Playing a zombie for a day and getting paid for it? It was probably one of the best things to happen since he arrived in Siren's Port (besides the others arriving, that is).

He sputtered slightly as the exasperated lady flicked fake blood over his face, closing his eyes tightly. He tried to wipe it off but only got his hand swatted away, with a clear warning not to touch it.

"Wait, does that mean it's done?" He tried to inch off the chair, more than reading to spend the day stumbling around and making incoherent noises.

"It looks pretty good from here." Tifa grinned at him...well, the makeup and face flesh turned it more into a grimace really. Hope's enthusiasm was infectious and Tifa had found herself practically squirming in her chair to get out and "play".

Even though it was technically work.

He grinned over at Tifa as well, and then yelped as his hair was yanked on and drenched in dirt and blood and bits of gore.

"I think at this rate we're not supposed to be able to see where we walk... is that supposed to make it more convincing?"

Maybe if he walked into walls and stuff.

"Maybe? I hope we don't have to run anywhere." She was shushed by her makeup lady and obediently turned her face forward...for about a second before looking sidelong at Hope again with a goofy grin on her face. "This is going to be fun."

"I don't think zombies run," Or did they? He was never the type to watch horror movies. but he distinctly remembered zombies groaning and stumbling around in stories, scary because they were super strong and tenacious but otherwise easy to outrun.

He wrinkled his nose as he felt more cold syrupy gore slathered on to his arms. It didn't look that convincing, which was the funny thing.

"Are we supposed to chase the main characters? Or just stand there?" He wasn't sure-- he knew there were two groups, but completely forgot which he was in.

"Uh...I'm not sure honestly, I'm pretty sure they'll tell us. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get to do both, stand around in some scenes and chase in others...ick." Tifa winces as her makeup lady splatters luke-warm fake blood on her face and hair, feeling her skin crawl at the sensation.

"Maybe we'll get to bite and infect someone! Grrr- ack!" His feeble but overly enthusiastic vocal impression of a zombie was cut off short as more blood coated through his hair, darkening the strands to red-black. Honestly, he was starting to feel more like a character from a slasher movie instead of a zombie movie.

He cringed away from trying to wipe his eyes clean when the make-up lady snapped at him to stop moving and threatening to do that again if he messed it up. He had to struggled to keep silent and not fidget as the last details were applied, and then nearly flew out of his hair the moment the lady said she was done.

"Tifa! Are you done, too?" And really, the result of zombification looked more silly than not.

"Bite someone?" Tifa's voice falters a little, remembering the bite she'd ended up with courtesy of a zombie invasion right here in Siren's Port. She's good at putting on a good front though, so she forces a smile out. "You think so?"

Eyes flicked up to the harassed make-up lady for permission and she threw up her hands in frustration and practically stormed away in frustration. Grinning sheepishly Tifa looked to Hope with a shrug. "I guess I'm done."

Hope's definitely cheerful enough about the prospect of the day that he doesn't quite notice the unease he normally would have, grinning as reaching to tug lightly on Tifa's hand.

"We can go meet the other zombies! I wonder if anyone else we knew might have seen the ad, too?"

Tifa's all-too happy to be tugged, since Hope's cheer is so infectious. She grins as she follows after, scanning the crowd. "I hope so, it'd be even more fun to have a bunch of us here."

"We could get pictures," He suggested brightly. "Or something, anyway. I don't know if anyone would recognize us if the movie does manage to really make it."

Especially is there were a lot of other zombies. The ad had called for twenty, but he wasn't sure if that meant twenty more since they already had a lot of people, or just twenty that would be in the film in total. Zombies, that was. But somehow, it didn't seem like a good zombie movie with only twenty zombies in it. Not all that scary.

"I brought my camera. I'm not supposed to take a -lot- of pictures, but as long as they're not filming it should be okay right?" Even if it was just pictures of her and Hope in a crowd of Zombies, that would be awesome.

"It should be okay!" He wasn't sure of it himself, but was more than willing to find out. Even if it wasn't okay, it wasn't as if the director was going to do much than grump, right? "If not, maybe they'll take pictures and we might be able to take copies home?"

"I'm sure there will be SOME way we can get pictures of us doing this. I'm going to take some anyway, and if they don't want me to then they'll say something right? And then I can ask about cast pictures or something."
