Riku arrived an hour before the theater opened, as usual, to get his lists and check up on things at the theater. He wasn't thrilled with the night before either, and there would be a lot to clean up today, but he still needed to be at work like the good assistant he was. He wondered, sometimes, how Cohen even managed to keep the theater during times like these. The Joker never should have been allowed to have a part in the production, and Riku had been against it from the start.

He couldn't speak against his employer, though. He knew the man's temper too well; he had almost been killed once before because of his last disappearance. He just hoped that Cohen hadn't done anything while he was at home.

The Keybearer wandered into the theater and pulled down his scarf, taking off his gloves and stuffing them in his coat pockets. He made his way to the main stage where he knew the man would be. "Mr. Cohen," he called. "I hope the police were-" He stopped short as he caught sight of his employer and...

What was that? Riku wandered closer, his eyes wide as he took in the monument to Cohen's last artistic piece from the bowels of Rapture. It was monstrous, plaster and blood, but the style was all too familiar. The boy stopped at the stage, staring up at the thing just as Cohen was. There were no words from him.
