The hall normally looked well used and old, but the girl, with the help of some others managed to clean it up well. The room is rectangle with no windows and just two doors. Both double opening door are at the font of the hall with garland draped over it and doors wide open. A sprig of mistletoe hanging in the center of each (nothing charmed about it at all though).
The Christmas tree is of average size, located in the long space between both doors, near the wall and on a short 3 foot table which is covered in a sheet of white that was flecked with silver and perhaps made to look a bit like snow while it covered up the base holding the tree up. It was decorated in reds, silvers and blues with strings of white and multi colored twinkling lights.
For seating there was a strangely large amount of couches, chairs, love seats and folding chairs scattered here and there. Some formed in rounds so people could set as groups, others lined the walls. They were all the used and run down seats from the storage room (the nicer ones at least) that no one had claimed for their apartments yet.
On one wall was a long folding table with a red cloth over it. Two large punch bowls (one with apple juice and one with red punch), trays of cookies, cakes and sweets and a few party trays of meats, cheeses and veggies could be found, with plastic cups and napkins.
There was some light background music playing, the sound of which seemed to come from behind the Christmas tree and from the other end of the hall on radios. There are candy canes on the tree with tiny little tags that say “take me” “enjoy me” “eat me” “give me a good home” and “happy holidays” on them. Take one!
