(
pretty raw with it )
Still, some of the people he'd gotten to talking with while stuck in this place weren't so bad, and so he fished the orange phone out of his pocket and flipped it open.
There was a text message waiting for him. In the "From:" section, he saw a name that would have made him crush the device in his hands if that was still possible: Orihara Izaya.
He immediately started to spin in a circle, searching the area for that pest so that he could put him in his place. However, just like during their first so-called encounter here, Izaya was nowhere to be seen. Huffing in anger, Shizuo started to press down on the buttons of his phone as hard as he could as he typed out a reply.
' Why the hell would I ever accept help from you? '
Once it had sent, he kept walking, picking up his pace.

Izaya, ever so playfully, blended with the busy crowd, minding his every step as he persuaded the taller male. Izaya was very much depended on his phone, in other words: He was attached to the little device in ways that didn't seem healthy at all. Therefore, typing while on motion didn't require much attention or the need to stop, but he was now closer and less discreet.
Another text was sent.
' It's really cold, you know! Wouldn't want you to freeze. . . ヽ(´ー`)ノ '

Even though he'd also noticed the weather, it wasn't as if he believed for one second that Izaya was concerned for his health. If anything, the flea was probably hoping he'd freeze to death. Not that that was likely to happen.
Seeing how a response would probably just egg the other man on further, Shizuo snapped his phone closed and put it back in his pocket without replying. He continued to follow the signs that pointed toward the train station, wondering how much further he had to go. More than that, were the trains heated?
It would have been a good idea to buy himself some warmer clothing, even if he just got a scarf and some gloves to wear. He didn't want to cover up the clothing Kasuka had given him with a sweater or a jacket, but just having something to keep his neck and his hands warm would make a difference.

With a blithe smile, Izaya regarded his target moving further away and out of his reach, he could still spot that blinding yellow head of his following the signs toward the train station, though. What a shame; Then again, there is a big chance Shizuo is merely having an aimless stroll that would offer nothing to him. Maybe he is trying to find his way back home, which is the standard routine most newcomers follow upon their arrivals.
He shuddered and tugged his hands inside his pockets, deciding to turn back and head to his office.
