When: Dec 18th, afternoon-ish
Where: ... uh. No idea! Sector 4, probably.
Summary: Samehada is still searching for Kisame, but gets detoured by a familiar chakra signature.
Warnings: Creepy energy-eating sword is creepy.
Time passed in different ways for Samehada than it did for people, but the sword was still aware. And the longer it went without feeling its wielder, the more worried it became--inasmuch as it could worry at all. It was that vague emotion that drove it to leave the ice-wielder, as delicious as his energy was, to go wandering again.
Unfortunately, it had nowhere to go and nothing to wander towards so it ended up wandering aimlessly and slowly. It was unused to moving on its own so much and found it tiring, so Samehada had to take frequent rests.
It was on one of these rests, and another attempt to locate Kisame's chakra, that the sword felt a familiar signature. It remembered that one from home. Maybe another ninja could find Kisame where it had failed. It was worth a try, anyway, and it was hungry again besides.
