Hearts, light and darkness.

Dec 20, 2010 20:28

Who: Master Xehanort and Shiroe Rei Seki.
When: December 20th (ish). Evening.
Where: Outskirts of the SPU's courtyard.
Summary: Shiroe's a non-believer on the subject of hearts-- Xehanort, being the nice, caring, educational old man that he is, offered a demonstration to convince him otherwise.
Warnings: A failed attempt at heart-stealing, with a strong possibility of telekinetic fighting. (Sorry Jomy.)

If someone had been destined to fulfill the curiosity killed the cat prophecy, it would be Shiroe.

It was a good place to meet-- there were hardly any students left milling outdoors, with parties and get-togethers and what-have-yous pulling people to warmth and finals-cramming and everything else in the imagination (half of which Shiroe had the joy to pick up when wandering about the halls), holiday related or not. The air was more than chill, but that just didn't seem to matter when there was something bigger to focus on.

He was pretty sure the old man wasn't someone to be feared, but that didn't mean he wasn't entering this encounter without some shred of doubt - until he could take a proper face-to-face (mind-to-thoughts) look, Xehanort was thought of nothing more than a possible spot of information and interest. Too much interest, maybe; meeting so soon, while overall a good thing to get out of the way, wasn't ideal, but...

But, he really wanted to know. And so he was stopping at the doors to the back yard of the SPU, eyes turned back to see if he could spot the man first. Hearts. It seemed like an idiotic topic, but if it was true - well. That obviously made things different.
