Summary: After recovering from the incident at SERO, Gaara visits his sister.
Warnings: None.
The earthquake had passed; fortunately, the accommodations in Sector 5 were suitable to withstand the instance. Nevertheless, Gaara was occupied for several hours, searching throughout the city to gauge the extent of damage. For the most part, people didn’t seem to have sustained too much heavy damage, with a few exceptions.
It wasn’t until after nightfall that he realized he still had yet to contact Temari. She must have, and still be, feeling worried, after catching sight of his condition over the network. Rather than communicate with her through the NV, he discreetly dispatched a couple of clones to continue his investigation, and then promptly set off for the starter apartments.
Down in the lobby, he got her room information from the man behind the counter, and ascended the stairs to the appropriate floor. He sensed her chakra signature before he reached the door, and knew she would acknowledge his presence in return. But upon arrival, he still knocked on it after a brief period of hesitation. His clothes covered the majority of his cuts and bruises from the interrogation at SERO, but the ones on his face were visible.
