Lion's Gate Masquerade Ball

Where: Lion's Gate Club
Summary: It's the Masquerade Ball at Lion's Gate Club. Food, drinks, music, dancing, and encounters with masked strangers? Only if you can pay the door fee.
NOTE: There will be security guards at the door checking ID. All weapons will be checked into storage, clothes properly scrutinized, and masks in place. Remember, drinks cost extra.

The floors were spotless and shining, waxed to perfection. The bars were clean, the glasses sparkling; you could see your reflection in them if you wanted to.
Everyone was in uniform; servers and bartenders in spotless clothes with golden masks. Security guards present in shiny dark blue, almost black, masks.
The string quartet was already playing, set up next to the dance floor. The piano was near them, ready for someone to start playing if given the chance.
People were already arriving, their ID being checked at the door, their weapons being checked in at the door. Money arrived in cash and checks, and were put into safety boxes as soon as they were given.
The beds were all ready, pillows and blankets put perfectly in each room.
Everything was perfect, and everything, most importantly, was ready.
Lion's Gate was open for it's Masquerade Ball.
