It was hard to miss the racket the cheerleaders were making, and even harder to miss the huge twirling sign. He didn't really care enough about humanity to understand their logic, but Szayel would have assumed most people would have had an electronic contraption of some kind built instead of letting a little girl fling a sign around like that...
Of course, this clearly was not your typical human...
Szayel's attention had been caught at the punch; with that much blood, there was no way that nose hadn't been broken. Yet when she pulled her hand away, it was perfectly fine. His eyes flicked about her, spotting the wrist, and how she seemed largely unbothered by it.
Oh ho... it seems specimen number zero-zero-one just presented itself. How delightful.
He slinks off, though he stays in sight, fully intending to intercept the girl as soon as she gets a break.

"Claire, wasn't it?" he purred. "Such a nasty blow you took back there..."

"So I see..." he purred, before his hand snapped up quickly to grab her chin, forcing it up so he could properly observe her nose. "Hmm... some kind of healing kidou, or instant regeneration...?" he continued, not really talking to her.

"How unfortunate for you... I imagine that you can't even die, can you?"

"Mm, I don't think so," he replied. "You are rather fascinating for a living being, though I'm sure you're aware of this."
And him without his lab at the moment; hm, rather problematic that, and there probably wasn't a way he could keep her sedated long enough to obtain a proper work place. How unfortunate; he let go of her with a disappointed sigh.
"You can go, for now, specimen," he sneered.
