Nagi wasn't entirely sure if this would work, but it was worth a try if it meant he got to both see how powers from another world worked and talk to Tot just one more time. He'd invited Mamoru over to watch because he knew his boss's curiosity about powers was likely to be as high as his own. The spare room was one he'd reinforced as a precaution in case he ever couldn't control his powers, so it seemed as safe a place as any to try this.
And if anything bad happened, he had his ability and Mamoru likely had some sort of weapon on him as well. As he waited, he petted one of his rats and fed him a raisin.
