Brooke had meant to quit his job as a secret janitor here, but he discovered that if he quit he wouldn't get his paycheck, and really if he was going to work here, he may as well get payed for it. So it was that he was working his last week before he got his paycheck, and was going about his regular business of cleaning, and avoiding rooms with heart attack patients. He made his way from room to room until finally he entered the staff room to clean the windows, only to find the nurse of his dreams, having dreams of her own.

Brooke smiled thinking of waking her up and saying hello, but he paused to consider the situation for a moment. She had been pushing herself a lot, to the point where she didn't have time to meet many friends, and was late for their first date, She very likely needed the sleep. Then the slightly more corrupt pirate part of his mind kicked in, and he thought about all the deliciously tempting and fun things he could do to a young sleeping girl. With an evil grin on his face he took out a pen and debated whether she'd look sillier with a beard or a mustache.

Brooke sighed and thought better of it though. He wouldn't want her to have people at the hospital laughing at her, or humiliating her for having a fake mustache, he only meant it for all in good fun, but he couldn't risk that on someone who he really cared for. So he put the pen down and considered the temperature in the room for a moment. It could be quite chilly with the air conditioner blowing, and Brooke didn't want Alice to get cold from falling asleep in here. So he went over to his janitor's cart and took out one of the fresh sheets for one of the bedrooms he needed to change.

"Sleep well Alice." Brooke whispered, as he draped it over her softly, and gently pecked her on the cheek. With that, he went to leave and continue his final week of cleaning. He did however, forget his pen on the table that said in golden letters on the pen's shaft, Brooke's Musical Emporium.

Alice seemed to mumble something right before Brooke left...

"Yugo... don't get hurt... I'll drag you back if y'..."

And just like that Alice lapsed back into her deep, silent slumber.
